That's the odd thing; one body shop says replacing is cheaper than fixing, and their estimate is $300 above the body shop who says that fixing is easier (because of the fender cost). If the fender is a bit cheaper, the difference is only $150. I'm going to see if a dealer will match the Nissanpartsdeal estimate, but am curious if it makes a difference in the larger sense-- like if money weren't a concern, would you replace rather than repair? One of my friends keeps going on about how the original steel on the car is better, etc.
